In a recent interview,

Park Sung Woong

spoke about his experience of shooting for a lip lock scene with his co-star

Seo Ji Hye

in their new movie, ‘The Wild’. There age gap between the two actors, Park is 50 and Ji Hye is 27, was much talked about.
Park essays the role of Song Woo Chul, who lands up in a threating conflict because of his friend Do Shik, played by Oh Dae Hwan.

The film stars Seo Ji Hye as Choi Myung Joo. ‘The Wild’ is all majorly about crime and action, but the undertone of a blooming romance between the lead characters is also noteworthy. And the kiss scene between them is a crucial moment in the film, showing their emotional connection. It was reportedly awkward initially for Park Sungh Woong and Seo Ji Hye, given the age, but their candid chemistry added a layer of authenticity to their characters.
Interestingly, Park

Sung Woong

was apologetic throughout the filming of the kissing scene. "I kept saying, ‘I’m sorry.’ She’s supposed to be doing this with a young, handsome, not-so-scary male actor… I kept apologizing until the end," Sung Woong was quoted by Koreaboo.
He further revealed, "The director did too much. We weren’t even close yet, but he put the kiss scene on the first day. It was the characters’ first kiss scene, so the awkwardness actually suited the characters well."

Seo Ji Hye admitted that she appreciated her co-star's nervousness and that it added authenticity to the scenes. She also praised Park for taking care of her on set and giving her valuable advice, making her first melodramatic role a memorable experience.
