PC, Mahesh Babu react to Rajamouli's 'SSMB29' post

is officially underway. Recently, Rajamouli shared a post on Instagram with the ace director holding an Indian passport and featuring a picture of a lion named Bob Jr.
In his Instagram post, the photo showed the lion behind bars, where he seems to indicate that the lead actors are now committed to the film. As he wrote "Captured," in the caption of the photo in a playful manner.

In response to Rajamouli's post, both Mahesh Babu and

Priyanka Chopra Jonas

commented enthusiastically. Priyanka expressed her excitement with a simple "Finally," while Mahesh Babu remarked about his commitment to the project. He wrote, "kkasaari commit ayithe naa maata nene vinanu…. (with a wink emoji)".

Mahesh Babu recently collaborated with a Lion character, as he performed the Telugu dub as Mufasa in 'Mufasa: The Lion King'.
'SSMB29' marks a significant collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra, who is making her return to Indian cinema after several years. The film is expected to be a grand two-part adventure, drawing inspiration from classic adventure films like 'Indiana Jones'. With a budget estimated between Rs 900-1000 crores.

The production is set to begin in April 2025, with filming expected to take place across various international locations, including Kenya and Andhra Pradesh's Borra Caves. Mahesh Babu has undergone rigorous physical training to prepare for his role, which is said to be inspired by the Hindu mythological figure Hanuman while Priyanka's character is expected to involve strong action elements.
A few days ago the 'Don' actress arrived in Hyderabad and was recently seen seeking blessings at the Chilkur Balaji Temple before starting work on the film. Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran is expected to play the antagonist.
