Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, said Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government in Rajasthan has “wasted” five important years of the youth of the state.

Addressing ‘Parivartan Sankalp Mahasabha’ in poll-bound Rajasthan’s Jaipur, PM Modi came down heavily on the incumbent Congress government and said, “The people of Rajasthan have sounded the bugle against the bad governance of Congress.”

“Congress deserves to get zero marks for the way they ran government here (in Rajasthan). The people of Rajasthan have decided to remove the Gehlot government and bring back BJP,” the Prime Minister said.

'See a change in Rajasthan'

PM Modi said he "clearly" sees that there will be a change in Rajasthan. "The Parivartan Yatra held in every corner of the state received a lot of support from the people, which indicates that the weather of Rajasthan has changed,” the PM said.

'Congress never wanted women to get reservation'

Intensifying his attack on Congress and Opposition bloc I.N.D.I.A, PM Modi said the new "Ghamandiya" alliance supported the women's reservation Bill in Parliament under pressure from women.

"Congress could have brought the women's reservation 30 years ago but they never wanted women to get the reservation. Congress and 'Ghamandiya' alliance partners are against women's reservation," he said.

The Prime Minister even said that the grand old party backed the women's reservation bill now under pressure from women.

The Bill, named as 'Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ was passed in the Lok Sabha on 20 September and was cleared by the Rajya Sabha a day later. The bill will grant reservations to women on one-third of seats in Lok Sabha and state assemblies.

'Congress govt protecting paper-leak mafia'

The Prime Minister said if BJP is voted to power in Rahasthan, the party will take stringent action against paper-leak mafia.

"Incidents of paper leak have brought shame to Rajasthan. Congress government is protecting the paper-leak mafia. I assure you that the BJP government will take stringent action against the paper-leak mafia," he said.

PM Modi guarantees action against corruption in Rajasthan

In his address, PM Modi said there has been rampant increase in corruption in Rajasthan. He asked, "Who will invest in a state where there is rampant corruption and where incident of beheading takes place openly."

"We gave a guarantee of stringent action against corruption. Today, everyone can see the action taken against those involved in corruption," the PM said.

Ahead of his address at the event, PM Modi was welcomed by BJP Mahila Morcha cadre at Jaipur rally venue.

He also received warm welcome when he arrived at the venue of 'Parivartan Sankalp Mahasabha' in Jaipur.

The rally in Jaipur will mark the culmination of four 'Parivartan Yatras' that the BJP took out in the poll-bound state.

Assembly elections in Rajasthan are scheduled to be held in Rajasthan in the next few months.
