In 2024, Akshay shared insights about his son Aarav on Shikhar Dhawan’s talk show, Dhawan Karenge. He revealed that Aarav, now studying at a university in London, left home at 15 to pursue his passion for learning and living independently. Akshay related this to his own experience of leaving home at 14.

The Khiladi star further shared that Aarav is quite independent, handling his own laundry, cooking, and cleaning. Aarav prefers second-hand stores like Thrifty for clothes, valuing sustainability over extravagance. Despite having an interest in fashion, Aarav has chosen not to pursue a career in cinema, a decision Akshay fully supports, encouraging him to follow his own path.
