A video has also been doing the rounds on social media where Deepika and Ranveer are seen twinning in black outfits as they attended a star-studded event in Mumbai.

While Deepika looked dazzling in an off-shoulder, body-hugging black shiny outfit, Ranveer looked dapper as ever in black blazer with matching pants.

Another video of them exiting the event has also surfaced on social media where Ranveer is seen planting a soft kiss on Deepika's cheek as they headed to their car.

Season 8, which aired last week, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were the featured guests. During their conversation with host Karan Johar, the Pathaan actress suggested that they were initially in an open relationship. She stated, "I wanted to be single for a while because I had come from difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said, 'I just don't want to be attached, don't want to be committed.' And I had fun! And then he came along, so I didn't commit, until he proposed to me. There was no commitment as such. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other," she explained.

This revelation left many people wondering if Ranveer and Deepika were in a 'situationship' initially. The duo also faced criticism from some who trolled them for this revelation.
