' trailer launch, Ranveer Singh got into super-cop and

super-dad

mode as he made his way into a crowd to aid a young girl who got separated from her mother.
In a video going viral online, the actor was seen rushing to help a child who was crying as she appeared to have got lost amidst a frenzied crowd. Ranveer, who took note of the little one, was seen asking the people to make way as he approached the child, carried her and tried to calm her down.

The actor and new dad was seen offering the child comfort and ensuring she was safe until her mother came out from the crowd and took her from the actor's arms. On handing over the child to her mom, Ranveer was seen wiping away her tears and patting her head. He also played the thorough gentleman and made way for the mother and child, and escorted them out of the theatre.

Ranveer, gushed about welcoming his

baby girl

with wife Deepika Padukone at the film's trailer launch event. While the actor did not reveal his baby's name, he did reveal that the little one made her debut in the movie 'Singham Again' as Deepika was pregnant at the time of the film's shoot. He said, "So, let me tell you this is my baby's debut, baby Simmba. Deepika was pregnant during the shoot."
Deepika gave the event a miss as she was busy with the newborn, he said and added, "I am on night duty, so I have come."
