In his memoir, the 53-year-old actor shared how he had a near-death experience at the age of 49 and was fighting for life. "The doctors told my family that I had a 2 per cent chance to live," he said, reported People magazine. Perry was initially admitted to a hospital due to opioid overuse.

Following which, Perry has aplogised in a statement to People magazine, “I’m actually a big fan of Keanu. I just chose a random name, my mistake. I apologize. I should have used my own name instead.”
