Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt cuddle up for a cute click after wrapping up daughter Raha Kapoor's first birthday bash
Alia Bhatt brought out the cupcakes and cookies to celebrate daughter Raha Kapoor's first birthday.
Surrounded by family and friends, the little one dug into her birthday cake with all 10 of her tiny fingers, pictures of which were posted online by her mommy.
Alia took to her Instagram handle to share glimpses from the kiddie party, and penned a heartfelt birthday wish for a baby girl that read, "Our joy, our life.. our light! It feels like just yesterday we were playing this song for you while you were in my tummy kicking away. There’s nothing to say only that we’re blessed to have you in our lives. You make every day feel like a full creamy yummy delicious piece of cake. Happy birthday baby tiger.. we love you more than love itself."
Grandmother Soni and aunt Shaheen also took to their handles to share photos of the goodies being served up at Raha's party. While Soni shared a tray full of custom-made cookies, Shaheen also shared a cute click of herself holding up a number 1 cut-out cookie with 'Raha' written in icing. "Time flies when you’re having fun. Happy Birthday my bean - there is no greater joy than loving you," she captioned the post.
After wrapping up the intimate party, Alia and Ranbir dressed down in comfy pyjamas as they cuddled up with their team of chefs who served up some delicious treats for the birthday party. Some of the finger food included fries, ribbon sandwiches, Brie chilli cheese toast, tacos, dosa, and other bite-sized treats.
Kareena Kapoor Khan and son Jeh, Isha Ambani and Akash Akash Ambani were among the celebrity guests spotted at the intimate bash.
While fans have been going gaga over the cute pictures from the party, many were upset that the actress did not reveal her baby's face. Recently at a media summit, Alia spoke about her decision not to reveal Raha's face. She explained, "I don't want it to seem like 'oh I am hiding my daughter's face.' I am proud of her. We are proud of our baby. The intention with which it came out initially was that we are new parents, we don't know how we feel about her face being splashed all over Instagram. She is barely a year old. We don't find the need for her to be a moment of paparazzi. She is still too little."
Alia assured that she will reveal her baby's face when she is comfortable with the idea.
