shared, “Log kya kahenge—if I start thinking like that, then mujhe actor hi nahi banna chahiye, that’s how I feel. And I also believe that when you accept this as your profession, you give the right to people to judge you... That scene—the kiss that people go on talking about—it was shot one year after the entire film shoot. I never looked at it as something bold or shocking. It was part of my job.”Sai expressed immense pride in the cult status Hunterrr enjoys today, calling it a significant project in her career. “I’m hell proud of it,” she said.

On wearing a bikini

When asked about the public reaction to her wearing a bikini in a film, Sai remarked, “I think so. I think pehle aise nahi hota tha, isiliye hum bolte hain, because no one had even tried before. Agar meri jagah koi aur try karta, they would have been accepted too, just like I was. My fans were flabbergasted. They were surprised—I hope pleasantly surprised.”

She further elaborated on her mindset, adding, “If a character is swimming, she would swim in a swimsuit, right? I mean, it was that simple for me. But logon ke liye it was a bold move. For me, it was just a part of something I was doing.”Sai also touched upon the importance of representation and taking risks. “I think somebody had to go and open that door—and open that door for other people also who want to attempt, or who have been trying, or who want to do this. So I’m really glad I did it.”
