Salman FAILS to beat SRK, here's how!

It has only been a day since Salman Khan announced the opening of advance bookings for his film 'Tiger 3' and reports suggest that the film has already broken records.
According to early estimates, the film that sees Salman returning as the super spy Tiger, has recorded the third-highest advance collection of the year. Sacnilk.com reports that the film earned a gross collection of around Rs 4.2 crore at the all-India box office in advance ticket sales.

The film managed this feat on day 1 of its advance bookings.
The report further states that the film currently ranks third on the list of highest advance ticket sales, only after Shah Rukh Khan's '

Jawan

' and '

Pathaan

'. Both films sold over a lakh of tickets in the first 24 hours of advance ticket sales.

Jawan reportedly holds the record with an estimated 1.50 lakh tickets sold in just 24 hours.
Salman has reportedly sold an estimated 1.42 lakh tickets in all formats, with a major portion of 1.3 lakh sales comeing in fromt the 2D version.
Production house YRF on Sunday began the countdown to the film's release on Sunday with a post that read, "The countdown has officially begun! 1 week to go for #Tiger3! In cinemas on Sunday, 12th Nov! Releasing in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. Advance bookings open. Book your tickets NOW."

Previously, the studio said shows of 'Tiger 3' will start from 7 am across India. The film will also be available in multiple premium formats like IMAX 2D, 4DX 2D, PVR P[XL], DBOX, ICE and 4DE Motion.
Set after the events of 'Pathaan', 'Tiger 3' will see Salman's titular spy race against time to save both his family and country. The movie marks the fifth film in the YRF Spy Universe.
