Ahead of Tiger 3's trailer launch on October 16, a solo poster of Salman Khan was dropped today, that showed the actor in an action packed avatar with a gun in his hand. Salman shared the poster with the caption, "Tiger aa raha hai. 16th October. #Tiger3Trailer Ready ho jao! 🔥 #5DaysToTiger3Trailer #Tiger3 arriving in cinemas this Diwali. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu."

A few weeks back, the superstar took to his IG handle to share the precursor of the third instalment of his upcoming spy action film with the caption, "Jab tak Tiger mara nahin, tab tak Tiger haara nahin (Tiger is not defeated until he is dead)."

Unlike the other films that set him up against a bad guy, this one sees the super spy facing the ultimate betrayal and being branded as a traitor by his country.

The 1-minute and 43-second clip hints that the film will see him going on the run from government agents while trying to clear his name and record.

While you can expect to see the star stepping up with guns blazing, fans can expect to see a touching father-son story as Tiger tries hard to win back his honour, for his son.

The clip gives us plenty of glimpses of all the action set to unfold in the film that has also shot in Istanbul. However, the precursor still doesn't give us a glimpse of Katrina Kaif as Zoya, or

Emraan Hashmi

as the villain.
The film will also feature Shah Rukh Khan in an extended cameo as the superspy Pathaan.

Going by the precursor, those new to the spy franchise might have to spend the weeks ahead catching up on the Tiger films and also Hrithik Roshan's WAR and Shah Rukh's Pathaan which are all a part of the YRF spy universe.
Reacting to the precursor, fans took to the comments section to share their excitement about the film saying, "Only 90's kids can understand the feeling of seeing

Salmaan Khan

Sir back in this role."
"Tiger 3 has blockbuster written all over it," wrote another.
"We are turning cinemas into stadiums this Diwali," said another in a tweet.
"Tiger against India, or India against Tiger?" another asked.
'Tiger 3' hits the big screens on Diwali, November 10. The film is set to clash with the Marvel superhero film 'The Marvels' that is also set to release on the same fesitve weekend.
