Salman Khan the official Bhaijaan of Bollywood is known for his on-fleek acting skills and also for his fit and chiseled physique. Let’s take a look at his diet and workout routine.
Workout sessions
The actor works 2 to 3 hours, 6 days a week in his private gym located in his Mumbai house, Galaxy Apartments. He spends 3 days lifting weights, whereas for the rest 3 days, he opts for cardio to get a lean body.
Workout mantra
Salman Khan starts his workout session with some warmup exercises which also include pull-ups, push-ups, squats, and jumping jacks.
Rest days are important
The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor keeps Sunday as his resting day. He also takes some breaks from his gym days at times and opts for cycling, which he believes is good for his knees.
Ascending pyramid workout
To get an effective body build, the actor starts the first set with light weights and then does more reps. In the second step, he raises the weights and decreases the number of reps, and thus continues the process.
Avoiding full-body workout sessions
Khan never opts for full-body workout sessions and only focuses on specific body parts per day, to avoid overexertion.

Preparing his body for fitness sessions
The actor performs a lot of deadlifts to shape his lower back and legs, as the deadlift is known to be the king of compound exercises.

The actor opts for chest press, moving to incline and decline presses. For his arms, he prefers barbells and dumbbell curls.
Diet plan
The actor’s diet plan mainly consists of protein-rich foods which include egg whites, fish, meat, and milk primarily.
