Teasing Kuldeep about his crucial four, Pant kickstarted the friendly exchange, saying, "Single le raha tha, chauka maar gaya [He was taking a single and hit a four instead]."

Kuldeep defended himself, replying, "Mera kaam tha single lena [My job was to take a single]." He then added, "The bowler gave the ball in the slot."
To which both Pant and Axar burst out laughing, saying in unison, "He knows only one shot. That's what I am saying, he knows only one shot."
