SRK's Jawan completes 50 Days at BO

At a time when films have been struggling at the box office, the Atlee directorial 'Jawan', starring Shah Rukh Khan, has crossed a remarkable milestone.
The movie which was released on September 7th in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, completed 50 days at the box office and the makers celebrated the milestone with a special poster. Sharing the poster, the team captioned it as, "50 days and still winning millions of hearts, Jawan is ruling every corner of the world!"
After its record-breaking first-week collection, raking in a whopping Rs 692 crores worldwide, and an impressive Rs 465 crores gross in India, 'Jawan' maintained its steady momentum.

In just 49 days, the film achieved a worldwide gross of approximately Rs 1146 crores, with an astounding Rs 759+ crores gross (Rs 639.50+ crores nett) collection coming in from the domestic box office and an additional Rs 387 crores from overseas markets. In its 50-day run, it has become the highest-grossing Indian film of the year and ranks as the fifth highest-grossing Indian film of all time.

This action-thriller also became the second Indian film of the year to zoom past the 1000-crore mark at the worldwide box office, making SRK the only actor to score two Rs 1000 crore fims in the same year. 'Pathaan', which presently stands as the second highest-grossing Indian film of 2023, earned an impressive Rs 1055+ crores following its January release.

While Pathaan quickly made its way onto OTT, Jawan is still enjoying its undisputed run with an estimated 500 shows playing every day.
