The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Result 2025 on its official website, ssc.gov.in. Thousands of candidates who appeared for the exam can now check if they’ve made it to the merit list.
This exam is held every year to select stenographers for various departments and ministries under the central government. Along with the result, the SSC has also released scorecards for individual candidates. Those who qualify will now move on to the next round i.e., the skill test. Candidates can download their results and scorecards by logging in with their registration number and password. Read on to know how to download your result and what to do next.
How to download SSC Stenographer result 2025
Candidates who appeared for the Grade C and D stenographer examination can now download their results by following the steps below:
- Visit the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in
- Click on the “Results” tab on the homepage
- Find the link for “Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2025 – Result & Scorecard”
- Click on the link and enter your registration number and password
- Your result and scorecard will appear on the screen
- Download and save the result for future reference

What is included in the SSC scorecard?
Your SSC Stenographer 2025 scorecard will show:
- Candidate’s Name
- Roll Number
- Category
- Marks Obtained
- Qualifying Status (Shortlisted/Not Shortlisted)
What’s next?
Shortlisted candidates will now move on to the Skill Test in Stenography, which is the next stage of the selection process. This test is designed to evaluate a candidate’s typing and transcription speed, both of which are essential skills for stenographer roles in government departments. The skill test will be qualifying in nature, but performance in it plays a crucial role in the final selection. The final merit list will be prepared based on a candidate’s combined performance in the written exam and the skill test.
