When Suniel was recently in conversation with

Niharika NM at

Money Control’s Creator Economy Summit, she asked the actor to name his favourite cricketer. To which, Suniel replied, "My favourite cricketer… today’s time… definitely Virat Kohli.
A shocked Niharika then took a dig at KL Rahul saying, "Man, KL, better luck next time.” To which, Suniel replied, "KL is my son, you know, when it’s family, you don’t talk about family.”
Niharika then asked, "What is Ahan then?” And Suniel replied, “Family. But he’s an actor, he’s not a cricketer. My favourite cricketer is Virat Kohli because he’s a master of chasing. That’s the first time that you feel when you’re at home and ‘dhak dhak’ isn’t happening.”

A few days ago,

dropped a new picture with his son-in-law KL Rahul. In the picture, the actor could be seen hugging and twinning with his son-in-law in a black t-shirt. Soon their friends and fans swamped down the comment section and dropped red hearts and fire emoticons. Athiya also dropped a red heart emoticon.
