In a note shared on his Instagram story, Sunny Deol lauded the team for bringing the audiences to the theatres. The note reads, “Congratulations to team Stree 2 for bringing heavy monsoons to the box office and cheer for exhibitors.

‘Stree 2’ is the sequel to the 2018 hit Stree, which also starred Kapoor and Rao. The original film was well-received for its unique blend of horror and comedy, and the sequel appears to be continuing that legacy with strong box office numbers.

'Stree 2' directed by Amar Kaushik, features Rajkummar Rao, and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. The film also has actors Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles. As per a report by Sacnilk, ‘Stree 2’ total collection now in India, after its 7-day run is Rs 275.35 crore. With the weekend approaching, the numbers are expected to go high.
