Sutapa: Heartbreaking when Babil joined films

also joined movies and made his debut with the OTT release '

' in 2022. However, Irrfan's wife Sutapa revealed in an interview recently that it was heart-breaking for her!
The reason for that was that suddenly there were make-up artists at home, applying make-up to Babil, he was wearing the same clothes.

All this brought memories of Irrfan back and she just couldn't bear it. She was so nostalgic that it was hearth-breaking for her!
She also opened up on her bond with Irrfan and said that they were like friends. Their relationship wasn't exactly a traditional marriage, it was more like meeting of minds, a partnership. They started as friends and remained so, throughout. Sutapa said that she just couldn't see herself as an actor's spouse and hence would feel awkward and uneasy when everyone in Bollywood called her 'bhabhiji'. She had never imagined that in her head.
Meanwhile, Babil seems to be following the footsteps of his father. While he got appreciated in his debut film itself, he's also showing a very different career path. His next is titled 'The Railway Men', and sees him share screen space with actors like R Madhavan and Kay Kay Menon. It is set to release on OTT on November 18.
