Aamir Khan's *Sitaare Zameen Par* has become a box office success, earning Rs 66.65 crore in its opening weekend. The film has surpassed the lifetime collections of *Taare Zameen Par*, *Laal Singh Chaddha*, and *Rang De Basanti*, securing its place as Aamir Khan's 7th highest-grossing film. This strong performance marks a positive turn after the performance of *Laal Singh Chaddha*.

Aamir Khan’s latest release Sitaare Zameen Par has proven to be a box office winner in its opening weekend. In just four days, the film has collected Rs 66.65 crore (all languages), surpassing the lifetime collections of several notable films in the actor’s illustrious career.

With this, Sitaare Zameen Par has officially become Aamir Khan’s 7th highest-grossing film in terms of Hindi net collections.

After a decent start on Friday with Rs 10.7 crore, the film saw a sharp growth over the weekend. It collected Rs 20.2 crore on Saturday, marking an impressive 88.79% jump, followed by Rs 27.25 crore on Sunday. While Monday's collections dropped to Rs 8.50 crore (early estimates) as per Sacnilk , the film still managed to hold reasonably well, taking its four-day total to Rs 66.65 crore.This performance means Sitaare Zameen Par has overtaken the lifetime collections of Taare Zameen Par (Rs 62.95 crore, Laal Singh Chaddha (Rs 61.12 crore),), and Rang De Basanti (Rs 52.91 crore) — all significant films in Aamir Khan’s filmography.Interestingly, Sitaare Zameen Par achieved this feat within just four days of its release, while the other titles it surpassed had their figures accumulated over their entire theatrical runs.

It’s also noteworthy because both Taare Zameen Par and Rang De Basanti are considered landmark films in terms of content and emotional impact.

As per Aamir Khan’s top 10 Hindi net grossers, Dangal continues to reign supreme with Rs 374.43 crore, followed by PK at Rs 340.8 crore and Dhoom 3 at Rs 271.07 crore. Sitaare Zameen Par now comfortably sits at the 7th spot with Rs 66.65 crore, pushing Laal Singh Chaddha, Taare Zameen Par, and Rang De Basanti down a notch.The film’s box office success comes as a positive sign for Aamir Khan, especially after the underwhelming performance of Laal Singh Chaddha in 2022. While it’s still early to predict where Sitaare Zameen Par will ultimately land in his all-time highest-grossing films list, the film’s strong weekend numbers suggest it might climb even higher in the coming days.
