Tecno Megabook S16 laptop announced with AI smarts, 16-inch screen

During this year's Computex in Taiwan, Tecno announced a slew of new AI-powered laptops. The flagship model Megabook S16 features a 16-inch display and is joined by the Megabook S14, T14 Air, K155 and K14S. The 16-inch S16 is the first of its kind for the company.

The laptop runs on an Intel Core i9-13900HK CPU with 14 cores and 20 threads clocked at up to 5.4 GHz. The CPU is paired with either 16 or 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe 3.0 SSD.

The 16-inch display has super-thin bezels and offers a standard 1,920 x 1,200px resolution with a 16:10 ratio. The panel covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut.

The Megabook S16 is pretty lightweight for a 16-inch device, tipping the scale at 1.3 kg and measuring just 14.9mm in thickness.

The whole system draws power from a 75Wh battery, which, according to Tecno, will last you 11 hours of usage.

As mentioned earlier, the laptop comes with AI-powered smarts - AI Gallery, AI Meeting Assistant, Ella AI Assistant, AI PPT and AI Drawing. The handy AI assistant is always at hand and is powered by DeepSeek's V3 model, which can aid you in online and offline tasks.

Tecno has yet to share pricing and availability for its new laptop lineup.
