This comment was in reference to Biden's recent use of a shorter staircase to board and deplane the iconic aircraft, which Trump highlighted to his supporters during his 100-minute speech in Derry.
The rally in the Granite State was significant as Trump officially announced his candidacy, taking the opportunity to critique his successor, particularly focusing on Biden's series of stumbling incidents. Trump humorously remarked, "'Crooked Joe can't even walk up the children's stairs," referring to Biden's avoidance of the typically used 18-foot set of steps.
