The makers of 'Chhaava' hosted a special screening of the movie for the actor's close friends and family, among other fans and industry insiders. The leading man arrived at the screening with his wife and actor Katrina Kaif. Both looked stunning in their traditional best as they posed on red carpet for the shutterbugs. While Vicky rocked a bandhgala black suit, Katrina, donned a stunning sheer saree.

Proud wife, Katrina, was also seen enthusiastically joining the chants, amidst the electrifying atmosphere inside the theatre. Kaushal and his director Laxman Utekar were seen joining in the chants and later acknowledged the love with folded hands saying, "Thank you."

The actor’s portrayal of the legendary Maratha warrior has generated a lot of buzz since the trailer release. Chhaava reportedly delves into the life and legacy of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna, the film promises to bring an epic historical tale to life with grand visuals and powerful storytelling.
The film is already eyeing a historic box office opening of around Rs 25 crore on Day 1. Although a major portion of the earnings come from the state of Maharashtra, reports state that good word of mouth might just boost the collections in other states as well.
