, director Venkat Prabhu is all prepped to unleash the blaze at the ticket counter, especially in the United States of America. With just 3 days to the release of the film, advance booking has begun to open up in India, but tickets have already gone on sale in the USA a few weeks back, and they have begun to create a mark at the American box office.

Over the past few years, the USA circuit has been dominated by Hindi and Telugu films, but with GOAT, Vijay is stamping his authority with the audience.

For its premiere shows, The Greatest of All Time has sold over 19000 tickets from its 389 shows, amassing US $ 472585 ( Rs 3.96 crore), while entire North America circuit stands at US $ 660,000 ( Rs 5.5 crore). It has already beaten the premiere show numbers of Beast which had minted US $ 415,000 (Rs 3.48crore) in USA. GOAT is now the second biggest premiere day number for Vijay, the first spot being held for his last film Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo: Bloody Sweet. More shows are expected to be added till the last minute for the film.

Cinema owners have been given a go ahead by the producers to begin screening as early as 6 pm Eastern Standard Time, which would be 4 AM Indian time to coincide with the release day in India. This permission would lead to an even bigger premiere day collection for the film. .
