Candidates can follow these steps to apply for the VITREE January 2025 examination:
Step 1: Visit the official website of VIT, i.e., vit.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads, ‘PhD/Direct PhD Online Application (January - 2025)- Apply Now’.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register yourself and login to your account.
Step 5: Proceed to fill in the application form.
Step 6: Pay the application fee and submit your application.
Step 7: Take a printout of your application for future reference.

VITREE 2025: Exam pattern
VIT will conduct the VITREE 2025 on December 7, 2024. The examination will be of 2 hours and will have multiple choice questions. One mark will be awarded for the correct answer and there will be no negative marks. The question paper for PhD will have 100 MCQs (Technical - 70, English communication skills - 15, Statistics and Probability - 15) and the question paper for Direct PhD will have 100 MCQs (Technical - 80 questions, English Communication skills - 20 questions). The question paper will be in English only. The examination will be held in a single shift: 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm and will be held in 28 cities.
