In the US, almost 60% of the calories come from ultra-processed foods. Changes are afoot as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, is determined to fix the broken food system, which includes taking away ultra-processed foods, a major contributor to the ‘obesity epidemic’ in America.
