When Jaya Bachchan spoke about Aishwarya

Aishwarya Rai became a part of the prestigious Bachchan family in 2007 after she tied the knot with Abhishek Bachchan in an intimate wedding ceremony at Jalsa. Jaya Bachchan had spoken to Karan Johar about Aishwarya during one of the older episodes of Koffee With Karan.
In the episode, Karan discussed how Jaya had relied on her daughter,

, for support over the years. He inquired whether Jaya would also turn to Aishwarya in a similar way.

Karan asked Jaya if Aishwarya would now share some of her burdens and concerns, just as Shweta had done in the past.

"I'm hopeful that she will take on more than just 'some,'" Jaya responded. Karan asked, "So you want to give her lots more?" However, Shweta Bachchan had a different view on this. She chimed in, saying, "Don't do that, Mom. It's scary and intimidating." Jaya reacted with, "What nonsense." Shweta clarified, "Slowly ease her into it." Karan questioned, "The Bachchan way of life?" Jaya agreed, and Shweta added, "It's not that difficult."

Aishwarya and Abhishek have been married for a duration of 16 years. They are parents to a daughter named Aaradhya, who was born in 2011.

Recently, Aishwarya, Shweta, Aaradhya, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda and others came together to celebrate Amitabh Bachchan's birthday on October 11. Pictures and videos from their family get-together have been doing the rounds on social media.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Jaya was last seen in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' with Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The film received positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike.

Aishwarya, on the other hand, was last seen in Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'.
