The West Indies cricket team has recalled Shai Hope for their upcoming three-match Test series against Australia, as announced in their 16-player squad selection on Tuesday.Hope, who leads the team in white-ball formats, earned his spot back in the Test squad following impressive performances in limited-overs cricket.

The squad notably excludes experienced fast bowler Kemar Roach, who has accumulated 284 Test wickets.Shamar Joseph, who played a crucial role in the West Indies' notable victory against Australia in the second Test at Brisbane last year, retains his position in the squad.The series, which contributes to the 2025-27 World Test Championship cycle, will continue with matches in St George's and Kingston for the second and third Tests respectively.
