Shathi Rani clears the front leg and looks to thump it over mid off but doesn't get the required elevation. It does seem to clear mid off and even serves to the left a bit but Sophie Ecclestone is one of the tallest players in the game and she puts her hands up to grab it well/

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Shathi Rani, FOUR! Streaky, but will do nicely for Bangladesh Women. Pitched up on the stumps, Shathi Rani looks for the heave again but gets a top edge that goes over the keeper and down to fine leg for a boundary.

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Shathi Rani, The third umpire had a long look at that but in the end, Charlie Dean has done excellently well to save a couple of runs here. On a hard length around off, taking pace off the ball as well. Shathi Rani fetches and uses the wrists to swat it away over square leg. Dean gives chases and puts a big dive in to just pull the ball back in play before touching the ropes.

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Shathi Rani, Nagging length around off, Shathi Rani looks to big heave leg side but misses and wears it on the pads.

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Dilara Akter, In the air and just out of reach! Full and straight, angling in, Dilara Akter clears the front leg and miscues the heave to the right of mid-wicket. Nat Sciver-Brunt to Dilara Akter, A huge and prolonged appeal for LBW but the umpire remains unmoved. Heather Knight feels it is straight enough and opts for the review. This is pitched up by Nat Sciver-Brunt, around middle and it is the wobble-seam delivery that nips in. Dilara Akter looks to whip it away but misses and gets hit on the pads. Nothing on UltraEdge and Ball Tracking shows the wickets as missing. England Women lose an early review.

We are back for the all-important run chase! The umpires and the players of England Women are out in the middle. It will be the new pairing of Shathi Rani and Dilara Akter to open the innings for Bangladesh Women. Nat Sciver-Brunt to open the proceedings with the ball. Let's go...

Right then, Bangladesh Women need 119 runs for the win, the exact score they put on against Scotland Women in their opening game but this will be against a stacked English spin attack. Can England Women do what their counterparts did and employ spin to win? We shall see. Run chase up next.

Fahima Khatun is down for a flash interview. She says she’s pleased with how she and her side bowled. Mentions they got off to a very good start but they pulled things back really well. Mentions the wicket is slow and you just need to hit the right lines and lengths.

Bangladesh Women look a side reborn, especially given the pool of young players being brought into the team. Rabeya dropped a catch early on but she did get the first breakthrough and then the spinners were able to weave a web all around the opposition batters. Even the pacers kept their lines fairly straight and got the rewards which ended in an all-round bowling display.

After Heather Knight opted to bat, the duo of Danni Wyatt-Hodge and Maia Bouchier made a watchful start which helped them get their eye in, and soon, they began to accelerate nicely. However, they lost a couple of quick wickets and the pressure started to fall on Wyatt-Hodge. She fell as well for 41 and almost all the middle order batters had single digit-scores next to their names. Sophie Ecclestone did manage to hit the first maximum of the innings that too on the penultimate delivery which took England close to the 120-run mark.

A solid comeback from Bangladesh Women after an expensive Powerplay and they have ended up suffocating a high-class English batting lineup and have set a great platform for the batters. England Women will know that they have the bowling to defend any total and will back themselves.

Sophie Ecclestone is in next.
