'KGF' star Yash will be co-producing and starring in the epic two-part film 'Ramayana'. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the lead. Currently working in India, Norris is collaborating closely with Yash to create the set pieces that match the epic scale and grandeur of the Ramayana story.Preparation for the role of RavanaYash, who plays the formidable Ravana, is fully committed to the role, undergoing intense physical preparation. The shooting schedule for 'Ramayana Part 1' is extensive, with Yash dedicating around 60 to 70 days to filming.The first part of the Ramayana adaptation is slated to release during the festive Diwali season in 2026, with the second installment expected to follow a year later, in Diwali 2027.Apart from that, Yash is also busy with another highly anticipated pan-India period gangster film 'Toxic' directed and co-written by Geetu Mohandas.The film features a star-studded ensemble including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Achyuth Kumar, and Akshay Oberoi. Yash plays a rugged and intense character, with the story blending action and drama in a period setting.
The film is being simultaneously shot in Kannada and English and will be dubbed into multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
