’s novel by the same name has caught the audience’s attention. The film’s collection has remained steady through the week and on Friday it saw a major jump.
12th Fail had a slow start at the box office when it opened to just Rs Rs 1.11 crore on Friday but saw a jump in collections over the weekend, earning Rs 2.51 crore on Saturday and Rs 3.12 on Sunday, it saw a dip on 1st first Monday where its collection dropped by 51% and made just Rs 1.5 crore but since then the numbers have remained steady, collecting Rs 1.65 on Tuesday, Rs 1.85 on Wednesday and Rs 1.30 crore on Thursday, thus making its first week total to Rs 13.04 crore as per Sacnilk.
And on Friday as per early estimates the film minted Rs 1.70 crore, thus proving has connected with its target audience and with no major competition this week…the film should reach Rs 20 crore box office before

releases on November 12.

I have not sold it to any OTT platform yet. It’s just me and my film. It’s my money so I am not answerable to anyone. I am telling you that I am living my life in the cinema. Cinema and my life are the same, there’s no contradiction.”
For the unversed, the story revolves around the resilient protagonist, Manoj (played by Massey), who encounters failure in his 12th-grade board exams but refuses to succumb to despair. Instead, he embarks on a fresh academic journey, setting his sights on the formidable UPSC examination.
