Promoting sustainability with a hint of fashion
Choosing an ideal bridal lehenga is one task every soon-to-be bride looks forward to. However, after D-day, the expensive lehenga can only be seen kept neatly behind closed wardrobes. But, as the shaadi season has dawned upon us, let’s revamp your bridal lehenga and create a new look without creating holes in your pocket, and promoting fashion sustainability.
Pick a new dupatta
Keeping the front of your lehenga and blouse the same, opt for a new heavy embroidered dupatta which can change the whole show, and drape it from the front or Sabyasachi style which would change the whole look of the ensemble.
Style it with a new jacket
If you wish to carry an Indo-Western look then opt for a traditional heavy embroidered jacket instead of a dupatta and change the complete look of your lehenga-choli set.
Wear it like a skirt
If you’re a big fan of ankle-length traditional skirts, then simply take off the bottom line of your lehenga and get a fashionable bomb look with a flared ankle-length skirt and match it up with the choli and a stylish pair of heels or juttis.
Dye it down
If you wish to give a drastic change to your lehenga but with the same embroideries and embellishments, simply dye your lehenga and you’ll see a brand new colour and a lehenga look.
Wear it like a sari
Either you can wear the blouse of your lehenga with a sari, or you can simply drape your dupatta like a sari with your lehenga-choli set and get a new look.

Pair it like a co-ord set
To get a more coordinated fashioned look simply pair up the lehenga and choli set without adding the dupatta. You can also add any other blouse and brasserie-style crop top of the same colour with your lehenga and turn it into a long skirt co-ord set.
Create a voluminous gown
Add some more ruffles and flares in your lehenga and stitch a lehenga-skirt with your blouse while adding some cloth and detailing in the middle. Make it a one-piece and wear this stunning lehenga-turned gown to lavish cocktail parties.
Get a cape and style it over
Ditch the traditional blouse and dupatta set, but turn your dupatta into a long cape and wear it stylishly with your lehenga and choli set.
