. While many criticized them, she questioned why lawmakers remain silent on bigger issues like rape and bribery.
On Wednesday, Akansha shared her thoughts on Instagram, reposting an update about the Maharashtra Police filing a case against Ranveer, Samay, and others involved in the controversy.
Along with the image, the actor wrote, "Guys I think I'm losing my mind.. so

is ok? Any and all rape is ok?”

She continues, “Killing us with hazardous air quality is fine. People literally falling into potholes and dying is fine. Pay inequality / bribery/cast system/taxes that are killing the middle class is all MAST! But apne moral standing par koi kaise dhabba dal sakta hai?”

earlier defended her friend Samay Raina, saying that while the comments made on the panel were inappropriate, they don’t warrant jail time. She questioned the harsh reaction, emphasizing that disliking someone's words or actions shouldn’t lead to such extreme consequences.

On India’s Got Latent, Ranveer asked a controversial question to a contestant, sparking severe backlash online. He later apologized and requested the makers to remove the insensitive parts. The episode, which also featured Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchlani, and Jaspreet Singh, faced heavy criticism on social media.
The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) demanded a strict ban on India’s Got Latent and called for action against Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis emphasized limits on freedom of expression, while Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi pledged to raise the issue in Parliament.
