, the teaser-trailer of which will be out tomorrow, September 8. In the poster, we see Vedang tied up in handcuffs in what looks like a prison, and Alia is caressing his hair, like an older sister. Earlier, a separate poster showcases Alia Bhatt in a commanding pose, standing atop the roof of a damaged car while wielding a weapon and an axe.

She also carries a bag, her character radiating both fierceness and bravery. Vedang Raina’s intense presence in the background complements the striking visual. The film's title is prominently displayed on the left side of the poster, completing the compelling image.The caption read, "Ab tu mere protection mein hai” #Jigra in cinemas 11th October."

Earlier, in an interview with News18, Alia spilled some details about the upcoming movie. “It is releasing on October 11, and what I can tell you about it is that it is releasing on October 11, 2024 (laughs). I had a wonderful time working with Vasan Bala. I have such fond memories of working with him, and we are still working on it because

post-production

is ongoing. He has got the perfect balance of cool and nostalgia,” the actress said.

Talking about the director Vasan Bala, she said that you will see so many Easter eggs in his films and in ‘Jigra’ as well. She added that, in fact, it used to be like a discovery for her every time she walked onto the set. “He has this grounding, old-soul sort of quality, yet he is also so edgy and cool. As a filmmaker, the way he writes and thinks is amazing. I had a blast working with him,” Alia said, appreciating the excellence of Vasan.
The film also marks her first collaboration with newbie Vedang Raina. When asked how it was working with the Archies actor, she said, “Vedang is just sublime. He plays my brother in the film. I am not going to say much about the relationship we share in the film, but I can definitely say that we had a very seamless, easy-going work relationship.”

Besides ‘Jigra’, Alia is all set for an action-packed spy thriller with Yash Raj Films in the famous ‘Spy-verse’. She will also begin shooting for ‘Love & War’ with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, where she will reunite with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, and her ‘Raazi’ co-star, Vicky Kaushal.
