Anjali Anand is known for her impressive acting skills and captivating presence. She has won hearts with roles in shows like 'Kulfi Kumar Bajewala'. She continues to take on diverse roles in TV and film, with projects like 'Bun Tikki' showcasing her talent. Recently, she spoke about the stereotypes actors face in Bollywood, highlighting the challenges they encounter.
Breaking Stereotypes in Bollywood
In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Anjali shared her thoughts on the stereotype that TV actors face challenges in transitioning to movies. She mentioned that someone had recently asked her about this stereotype, but she had never let it influence her. Anjali emphasized that being a TV star doesn't automatically translate to special treatment in films. Instead, she believes that when you move into a new area, you must begin anew.
The Reality of Industry Expectations
The actress further said, "If you were to become a crime journalist tomorrow, you'd have to start from scratch. You'd need to learn everything all over again. You can't expect people to be waiting for you with open arms just because of your past achievements. Many people ask me, 'You've worked with Ranveer, so when will you work with Deepika?' But it's not like Deepika is standing by, eager to collaborate with me. I have endless aspirations, but I don't know where my journey will take me or what opportunities will come next. I'm leaving it to fate and will seize every opportunity that comes my way."
