Anushka Sen: As an actor you are just hungry

The gorgeous and talented Anushka Sen has been a part of the entertainment industry since her childhood. From music videos to series, she showed her versatility in different genres, and soon she will be making her Korean debut with ‘Asia.’ Speaking to ETimes exclusively, the actress opened up about what made her fall for Korean dramas in the first place.
“Covid!," she laughed.

"Covid time was very difficult, I was feeling very low. I didn't know what to do, my only comfort has always been Shah Rukh Khan movies and I had already watched them 50 times and I watched them again. But then I wanted to do something new and different and that's when I discovered

and my life changed, and I have been obsessed ever since,” said Anushka Sen during our conversation at the Korea Tourism Fiesta, organized on October 19.
From watching K-Dramas to working in a Korean movie, Anushka Sen has come a long way. The actress will be seen doing a lot of action sequences in the movie. And where there is action, there is injury. When asked about whether she got herself hurt during any of the scenes, Anushka replied, “I am very clumsy, and of course, it hurts. However, I don't even feel it anymore now because as an actor you are just hungry for an opportunity. You just want a chance to prove yourself. So I got the opportunity and that's what my focus was.”

Last but not least, when asked about things she has been teaching her Korean co-stars and in barter the things they are helping her with, Anushka said, “I am just putting in the idea in their head to come to India, Delhi, Mumbai, have butter chicken, rajma chawal, pani puri. They know namaste, so I am trying to teach them more Hindi words.”
“They are teaching me cute Korean words, and different ways of making hearts, and they tell me more about their food so I love that. Korean food is iconic,” she concluded.
Anushka Sen’s Korean movie called ‘Asia’ has wrapped up its first schedule. However, the release date of the same is yet to be announced.
