The Rasha Thadani, Aaman Devgn starrer sees further dip, trails behind Kangana Ranaut's 'Emergency'

On Friday, January 17, Kangana Ranaut's '

Emergency

' clashed with Rasha Thadani,

Aaman Devgn

's debut venture '

Azaad

'. The film directed by Abhishek Kapoor marked the debut of Raveena Tandon's daughter and Ajay Devgn's nephew. It also had Ajay in an extended cameo of sort. However, despite the song 'Uyi Amma' getting quite popular and buzz around the film, especially Rasha, the film had a dull opening and has continued to see a drop since then, gradually.
The opening day number was around Rs 1.5 crore. There was no significant growth even on Saturday or Sunday and it remained in the range of Rs 1.3 crore and Rs 1.75 crore respectively. However, there was a drop on Monday and it made only Rs 65 lakhs. On Tuesday, which is day 5, the movie has dropped further and it only made Rs 55 lakhs. Thus, according to Sacnilk, the total collection of the movie so far, in 5 days is Rs 5.75 crore.
It is trailing behind Emergency, which is doing better despite the fact that it is banned in Punjab. The total collection of the film so far, in the span of 5 days is Rs 12.40 crore.
Meanwhile, both these movies are facing competition from Ram Charan's 'Game Changer' and Allu Arjun's '

Pushpa 2

'. Though, after completing a run of around 47 days, the Allu Arjun starrer has now begun to lose steam and the numbers have now begun to come down as it nears it lifetime run at the box office.
