Her appearance follows a series of high-fashion outings, including her recent appearance at the Paris Fashion Week, where she stunned in dramatic oversized coat dresses.Padukone’s Stockholm appearance also comes amid heightened public interest following her exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film 'Spirit', which would have seen her starring opposite her 'Kalki 2898 AD' co-star Prabhas. However, owing to some friction between the actor and her director, she was replaced by Triptii Dimri.Considering that her appearance at the event came amid this new controversy, the actress spoke her mind about navigating “complicated situations” and highlighted her need for prioritising 'peace'.

While she did not directly reference any specific controversy, many interpreted her remarks as a subtle nod to recent industry tensions. She said, "I think what keeps me balanced is just being truthful, being authentic.

Whenever I'm faced with complicated situations or difficult situations, I think, to be able to listen to my inner voice and just make decisions and stand by decisions that really give me a lot of peace, is when I feel most in equilibrium."
