Bollywood star Deepika Padukone turned heads with her fashion-forward appearance at a luxury jewellery brand event in Stockholm. The beauty stunned in a dramatic oversized red coat that she accessorised with diamond jewellery.
While at the event, Deepika emphasised the importance of intuition and positive collaborations. In a candid clip posted by Harper’s Bazaar, the actress revealed her approach to choosing projects and maintaining balance in her life. “I just listen to my gut, to what feels right,” she said. “I think it is easier said than done, but when you just shut out the noise around you and listen to your gut, I think the answers are always there.”She further added, “I think, wanting to collaborate with people that I'm going to have a good time working with, surrounding myself with family, friends and being authentic is how I am able to find my balance.”Her remarks come in the wake of her much-discussed exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit, in which she was set to star opposite Kalki 2898 AD co-star Prabhas.Though Padukone did not directly address her departure from Spirit, her comments have been interpreted by fans and industry watchers as a subtle nod to prioritising her well-being over professional pressures.
The decision to step away from the project came amidst chatter that the actress put forth her demands for a Rs 20 crore fee, a share of the film's profits and fixed working hours. Her exit surprised many, as it would have marked a second major on-screen pairing with Prabhas. Following her exit, the director announced that he has cast Animal actress Triptii Dimri as his leading lady. The film will reportedly see her play the role of a doctor, opposite Prabhas who will star as a no-nonsense cop.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika is set to star in the film 'King' which will see her reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan. She is also rumoured to be returning to the spy movie franchise with the Pathaan sequel.
