' I stand by decisions that give me a lot of peace'

Amid growing controversy involving filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone has seemingly addressed the situation in a viral clip from her latest appearance at an event in Stockholm. On Monday evening, the actress made a dazzling appearance at a high-profile event for a luxury jewellery brand.

Embracing old-Hollywood glamour with a bold twist, she wore an oversized red gown paired with a slicked-back hairstyle and a show-stopping diamond and sapphire necklace.

But while the red carpet photos quickly went viral, it was a behind-the-scenes clip from the event that captured public attention. In the candid video, Padukone shared a thought-provoking message about navigating personal and professional challenges.

“I think what keeps me balanced is just being truthful, being authentic,” she said.

“Whenever I'm faced with complicated situations or difficult situations, I think, to be able to listen to my inner voice and just make decisions and stand by decisions that really give me a lot of peace, is when I feel most in equilibrium.”Though she made no direct reference to Vanga or the controversy, many fans interpreted her statement as a subtle nod to the heated situation that unfolded over the weekend with the actress walking out of the highly anticipated film. In 'Spirit', Deepika was set to star opposite Prabhas in the Vanga directorial.

Vanga, known for 'Animal' and 'Kabir Singh', shared a cryptic post on his social media on Tuesday, calling out an actor, believed to be Deepika, for playing "dirty pr games". Without taking any names, he posted a lengthy tweet on his handle saying, "As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn't get it. You won't get it. You will never get it. Aisa karo.... Agli baar poori kahani bolna... kyunki mujhe jarra bhi farak nahi padtha.

#dirtyPRgames. I like this kahawath very much...Khundak me billi khamba noche."

Meanwhile, Deepika's role as a female lead has now been passed on to actress Tripti Dimri in his upcoming film which will reportedly go on floors in October.
