I remember having a conversation with my brother. My brother said, 'In 2011, the World Cup will be played in India and the final will be in Mumbai at Wankhede Stadium. With this trophy, can you imagine yourself taking a victory lap.' That's where the journey began again. For those four years, there was only one goal. This trophy," said Tendulkar while pointing at the World Cup trophy.

"From possibly the toughest moment in my life, 2007, to 2011, the best cricketing moment in my life.
