Legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar inaugurated a board room named after him at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) headquarters in Mumbai. The room has been named as "
SRT 100

was joined by BCCI administrators: Roger Binny (Honorary President), Rajeev Shukla (Honorary Vice President), Devajit Saikia (Honorary Secretary) and Rohan Dessai (Honorary Joint Secretary).

, with the final being played at the

where India exited in the group stage."2007 when we got back from the West Indies, number of thoughts came to me. Whether it was time to continue or move aside. I remember having a conversation with my brother. My brother said, 'In 2011, the World Cup will be played in India and the final will be in Mumbai at Wankhede Stadium. With this trophy, can you imagine yourself taking a victory lap.' That's where the journey began again. For those four years, there was only one goal. This trophy," said Tendulkar while pointing at the World Cup trophy.

"From possibly the toughest moment in my life, 2007, to 2011, the best cricketing moment in my life.
