The university’s official re-registration portal — https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in — is open to both Indian and international students, and is accessible for all courses that permit progression to the next semester or academic year.Re-registration open to all continuing studentsIGNOU has clarified that the re-registration facility is available to students who are already enrolled in a programme, regardless of whether they appeared for the term-end examination or submitted their assignments.

This offers flexibility to learners facing academic or personal challenges, enabling them to continue their studies without interruption.The university has advised students to avoid waiting until the last minute to submit their forms and make the necessary payment. Those using third-party services such as cyber cafés are encouraged to verify their course selection and payment status before confirming submission.

Steps to complete IGNOU July 2025 re-registration

Students can follow these steps to complete the re-registration process via the official portal:Visit the official portal: Go to https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.New registration or login: If you are a new user, click on the “New Registration” button and provide a valid mobile number and email ID. Existing users may log in using their username and password.Select your courses: Carefully choose your courses based on the options available in your programme guide.

Course changes later may limit your study time.Make payment: Use your own bank card, UPI, or net banking to pay online.
