Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has introduced a new undergraduate degree programme; Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Journalism and Digital Media (BAFJDM), offered by its School of Journalism and New Media Studies (SOJNMS).

This four-year undergraduate programme (FYUP), delivered through the open and distance learning (ODL) mode, aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and aims to prepare students for careers in the evolving fields of journalism and digital media.
