Is Aamir relocating to Chennai for his mother?

Bollywood star Aamir Khan may just be shifting base to Chennai! New reports doing the rounds state that the superstar, who is currently on a break from his acting duties, may just be flying down south to be by his ailing mother, Zeenat Hussain's side.
Reports state that the actor's 89-year-old mother is currently under the care of a private medical centre, and Aamir is keen to be by her side during this time.

Sources told India Today that Aamir plans on staying in a hotel within close proximity to the medical facility.

If there is any truth to the rumours, then this move will follow the actor's statement, announcing his intentions to prioritise his family and spend more time with them. Earlier this year, he joined his family and close friends for a grand birthday party hosted for his mother. They commemorated the joyful occasion with adorable photos that were later shared online.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir recently revealed details of his upcoming film titled '

Sitare Zameen Par

', which is expected to have a theme similar to his 2007 hit 'Taare Zameen Par'.
The actor is also set to produce three films, including 'Laapata Ladies' directed by Kiran Rao, a project featuring his son Junaid Khan, and 'Lahore 1947' with Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol.
