According to Sacnilk, ‘Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh’ made Rs. 7.75 crore on Friday, which was its opening day. Then on its first Saturday, which marked day 2 for the movie, saw slight growth, the
box office collection
of Rs. 9.50 crore. With these numbers, the total box office collection of the film currently stands at Rs. 17.25 crore.
‘Kesari 2’ occupancy rate
On April 19, 2025, ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ saw an overall 25.78% Hindi occupancy. The morning shows saw a decent footfall with 11.68% occupancy, which rose to 22.91% in the afternoon. Thereafter, the evening and night shows saw better stats with 26.83% and 41.71% occupancy, respectively.
As far as the occupancy in the regions is concerned, the maximum numbers were seen in Chennai with 56.00%, and close behind was Bengaluru with 43.25%. In the third spot is
Hyderabad with 37.75% occupancy, while NCR followed behind with 29.25% and Pune with 27.75%.

The period drama ‘Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh,’ sees Akshay Kumar as C. Sankaran Nair, the fearless lawyer who challenged the British Raj in his pursuit of justice for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Alongside him, R. Madhavan is seen portraying the role of Advocate Neville McKinley, while Ananya Panday takes on the character of Dilreet Gill.
