‘I didn’t look like my mother or sister’

Khushi Kapoor, who is gearing up for her big-screen debut with

Loveyapa

alongside Junaid Khan, recently opened up about her struggles with self-esteem and the challenges of being judged for her appearance. Ahead of the film’s release on February 7, Khushi reflected on her journey, addressing the comparisons with her late mother, Sridevi, and sister, Janhvi Kapoor.
In a recent interview with Indian Express, Khushi revealed that she was teased for her appearance as a young girl and felt the impact of those comments. "When I was a young girl, I was made fun of for how I looked. I didn’t look like my mother or sister. Your self-esteem takes a hit when you are a young child," she shared.
She further spoke about her interest in skincare and fillers, stating that vanity should not be demonized, especially when it stems from insecurities that others have pointed out. She emphasized that people will always have opinions, but one should focus on what feels right rather than worrying about external judgment.
