Neha opens on being pregnant before marrying Angad

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi tied the knot in 2018 and left everyone surprised. Soon, the couple announced that they're expecting their first baby. The actress was pregnant before they got married and in a recent interview, she has opened up on things that went on in her mind when that happened.

She also spoke about how society would question her and the stereotypes around it. She revealed that her close friend Soha Ali Khan was one of the first people who she told about her pregnancy.She said during a chat with The Hollywood Reporter India that Soha and Kunal were one of the first people to get to know of this. Also because she fainted on Kunal while they were having dinner together at a restaurant. She said, "At that point there was just chaos, I was pregnant."Neha added, "They were the first ones to get to know that we were pregnant. Also, because we were eating in a restaurant and I fainted on Kunal Kemmu. The next morning, we met again and that’s when I told her that I was pregnant." The actress also revealed that at this point, their relationship was also very new. She added, "You are also like… not married, you barely dated the guy. This information, no matter how unorthodox or orthodox you are, it’s just easier to share it with your friends, and friends who have just had a baby as opposed to telling your parents.

Talking about the perception of people, she said, "You are always questioned that ‘are you together because this happened or you genuinely want to be together?' It worked out well. There’s no other way I would want it."Neha and Angad are parents to Mehr who is now 7 years old and their second baby, Guriq is 3 years old now.
