Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2
. Despite the glamorous image often associated with such scenes, Nushrratt admitted she initially felt very self-conscious about wearing a bikini. However, she chose to face this challenge directly and transform it into an empowering experience.
Turning Real-Life Experiences Into On-Screen Performances
In a conversation with Hauterrfly, Nushrratt shared that she has always believed in bringing real-life experiences into her on-screen performances. She admitted that she had never worn a bikini before and felt nervous about being on camera in it. She expressed her concerns to director Luv Ranjan, explaining that if she wasn’t comfortable internally, it would be hard to give a natural performance. Nushrratt realized that to truly own the scene, she had to first feel at ease with herself.
A Solo Trip to Confront Her Fears
Determined to overcome her self-consciousness, the actress took a solo trip abroad, seeking a space where she could confront her fears without the pressure of familiar eyes. She explained that in Mumbai, it would be difficult to walk around in a bikini without feeling judged, so she chose to travel abroad. The goal was to break down the internal barriers and normalize the experience for herself.
Normalizing the Bikini Experience
And she succeeded in normalizing it. For three consecutive days, from morning till night, Nushrratt wore bikinis intentionally, allowing the experience to feel natural. By the second day, she no longer noticed the bikini at all. It simply became part of her, and she embraced it with confidence, realizing, "I’m a woman, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that."
