, calling it heartbreaking and cowardly. The attack, which took place on April 22, left 26 civilians dead, including 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen, and has shaken the region and beyond.
Mahira Khan took to her Instagram stories to express solidarity with the victims and their families. “Violence anywhere in the world, in any shape or form, is an act of mere cowardice. My condolences to all those affected by the attack in Pahalgam. #PahalgamAttack,” she wrote.

Amid the ongoing Abir Gulaal controversy, Fawad Khan also shared his grief on Instagram Stories, writing, “Deeply saddened to hear the news of the heinous attack in Pahalgam. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this horrifying incident and we pray for strength and healing for their families in this difficult time.”

Pakistani star Hania Aamir was among the first to respond, posting a deeply emotional message,
“Tragedy anywhere is a tragedy for all of us. My heart is with the innocent lives affected by the recent events. When innocent lives are lost, the pain is not theirs alone—it belongs to all of us. May we choose humanity, always.”

The terror attack in Pahalgam reportedly occurred between 2:30 and 3 PM in the Baisaran meadow area, a popular tourist destination in Jammu and Kashmir. According to reports, terrorists descended from the surrounding hills and opened fire on tourists, including families and children who had come to enjoy the scenic valley.

The attack is being labeled one of the deadliest since the 2019 Pulwama bombing, which killed 40 CRPF personnel. It also stands out as one of the most brutal assaults in the region following the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. The Pahalgam terror attack has been strongly condemned by global leaders, Indian political parties, and Bollywood celebrities, many of whom shared heartfelt messages online.
