Paresh Rawal has quit 'Hera Pheri 3' and the news came as a huge shock to everyone. The actor himself confirmed the news. After this, there have been reports that Akshay Kumar's production house has sued Rawal for Rs 25 crore for suddenly exiting from the franchise.

Reports suggested that Akshay Kumar decided to sue the actor as he is now producing the film after buying the rights from Feroz Nadiadwala.Now amidst reports of Akshay filing a lawsuit against Paresh, the actor known for playing 'Baburao' in the franchise, has opened up on the real reason for quitting the film. He said in an interview with Mid-day, "I know it came as a shock to many. We three make a great combination with Priyadarshanji directing us, but the fact is that I opted out because today I don’t feel like a part of it."

Meanwhile, earlier, the actor had said in an interview with Lallantop that he is just doing the franchise as he doesn't want it to get stuck, but he is not feeling happy about it. He had said, "Everybody wants to cash in on sequels but do something different with the character that has Rs 500 crore worth of goodwill.

Meanwhile, Suniel had also expressed his apprehensions regarding the third part. He had said in an interview with Pinkvilla, "The only fear is — can we even get remotely close to the original? So there I think… if we do things honestly, because Hera Pheri was a very honest film, and if we maintain that honesty (then) people will latch on to that film because it’s got a great recall value, so I am looking forward to it.”
