In his post, he expressed, “When DEVA did the dhante daan.

No better way to wrap a film. Was such a special feeling. This one’s coming to give you a JOLT. #gohardorgohome #lovethisshit ITS A FILM WRAP ON THIS MONSTER OF A FILM THAT TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME. I can’t wait to share it with you all on 14th FEBRUARY” .

In an interview with PTI last year, Shahid had expressed his desire for a Kaminey sequel, “I kept telling him (Bhardwaj) to make a part two. I want to see more 'Kamineys'. I think it had that naughtiness that will always be exciting to the audience because it is grungy, grounded and naughty, which is a great combination.”

Kaminey was released fifteen years ago, on August 14, 2009, a critically acclaimed action thriller directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film also stars Priyanka Chopra opposite Shahid Kapoor. On its 15th anniversary, Shahid had posted a video captioned “फ-फ-फ-फifteen years of Kaminey!”

‘Deva’ features Shahid Kapoor in the role of a defiant police officer, with Pooja Hegde portraying a journalist who becomes embroiled in a high-stakes investigation. The film is directed by the acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur.
